Women's Tennis Defeats Rival Hunter, Bearcats 2-0 in CUNYAC

The women's tennis team won their second CUNYAC match defeating the Hawks of Hunters College, 7-2, on Wednesday afternoon at the Columbia University Tennis Courts.

The visiting Bearcats won all two of the three doubles and five of the singles for the win that keeps them undefeated in CUNYAC.

Ava Deguzman and Esther Benjamin won for the 37th time at first doubles, 8-2.

Erica Sheludenko won at third singles 6-1, 6-1, for her 27th career singles win.

Aishika Yadav continues her strong rookie campaign winning at second singles, 6-0, 6-1.

Shanae Love won at hard-fought sixth singles 6-2, 4-6, 10-8.

The Bearcats are now 6-0 on the regular-season schedule.
