Bearcats Drop Non-Conference Contest to Eastern Nazarene

The men's tennis team lost 7-2 to the Lions of Eastern Nazarene University of Massachusetts on Sunday afternoon at the Billie Jean King U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The visiting Lions from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference won all three doubles and four of the six singles for the non-conference victory.

The Bearcats earned their two points in singles with Juan Paredes winning in a comeback at #2 with scores of 4-6, 6-4, 10-4.

Nicholas Santiago also won a hard-fought encounter at #3 with the score of 6-3, 7-6 (8-6).

The Bearcats will now prepare to play rival Hunter College on Friday. First serve at the U.S. National Tennis Center is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
