Men's Tennis Win Spring Opener, Defeat Yeshiva (8-1)

The men's tennis team started their Spring schedule on a good note recording an 8-1 home win against Yeshiva University on Sunday night.

The Bearcats won all three doubles and five of the six singles for the non-conference match that was played at the Queens College Tennis Courts.

Juan Paredes and Nicolas Santiago had a solid outing at number 1 doubles winning, 8-0.

George Arteaga won a tough singles encounter at number four, 6-2, 7-5.

Tuna Nergizoglu took care of business at number 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1.

The Bearcats will resume action on March 12 with a home match against SUNY Purchase.
