Men's Tennis Downs Lehman in CUNYAC Action

On Saturday afternoon, the men's tennis team went on the road to post a 9-0 CUNYAC victory at Lehman College in the Bronx.

The Bearcats won all three doubles and six singles to improve to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in the CUNYAC.

The number one doubles team of Juan Paredes and Nicholas Santiago won with a convincing score of 8-0. Tuna Nerziglou (#1, 6-1, 6-0), George Arteaga (#3, 6-0, 6-0), Reda Ljazouli (#4, 6-2, 6-1), Gonzalo Abad (#5, 6-0, 6-0), and Jaime Borrajo Boticario (#6, 6-1, 6-2) all contributed to the victory on a very overcast and windy afternoon.

The team will quickly return to action tomorrow with a 12:30 p.m. home contest at the Billie Jean King U.S. National Tennis Center against the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
