Men's Tennis Celebrates Bearcats Appreciation Day, Win Twice to Capture CUNYAC Regular Season Title

The men's tennis team had a very busy Tuesday at the Billie Jean King U.S. National Tennis Center winning two conference matches and celebrating Bearcats Appreciation Day.

The Bearcats took care of business on the court defeating John Jay and York Colleges each by the score of 9-0.

They took control in each match by winning the three doubles and six singles to raise their CUNYAC record to an undefeated 5-0 and 10-3 overall in the regular season.

They also finish in first place (5-0) in the CUNYAC, which earns them the regular season trophy for the 17th time in team history and the top seed in the CUNYAC Championship Tournament that will begin on Sunday, April 28.

In between the two matches today, the team honored final-year players Nicholas Santiago, George Arteaga, Gonzalo Abad, Jaime Borrajo Boticario, and Reda Ljazouli on Bearcats Appreciation Day!

The Bearcats will continue their schedule during Spring Break next week by traveling to Madison, New Jersey on Monday to play Drew University.
