Michael Kotrozos ‘97 is beginning his sixth season as Head Coach.

Kotrozos is the sixth head coach in the history of the Baruch College women’s basketball program.

He spent the 2016-17 season as an assistant coach here at Baruch. He was also previously on the staff for one year during the exciting CUNYAC Championship and NCAA Second Round 2014-15 season.

The native of Queens is a 1997 graduate of Baruch with a Degree in Psychology. He played four years (1993-'97) on the men's basketball team under former Head Coach and Director of Athletics Ray Rankis.

He brings plenty of coaching experience to the program, which includes stops at Hunter College, where he worked for the men's and women's basketball teams.

He started at Hunter in 2007 as an assistant to the men's team and later combined duties with the women's team during the 2009-'11 seasons. He was promoted to Associate Head Coach of the women's team during 2012-'13.

Kotrozos has also worked on the coaching staffs at Division I Wagner College, powerhouse Christ the King Regional High School, and prominent AAU clubs NY Belles and New Heights.

Kotrozos has also previously served as the Baruch College Kids Summer Camp Director during 2019.
