Women's Tennis Defeat York in CUNYAC Action; Bearcats Now 3-0 in CUNYAC

The women's tennis team went on the road Thursday to record a 9-0 CUNYAC win at York College in Jamaica, New York.

The Bearcats posted wins in all three doubles and six singles to stay undefeated at 8-0 on the regular season schedule.  

Ava Deguzman and Esther Benjamin won at first doubles, 8-0, which is their 22nd all-time win as a duo equaling the all-time school record by Regina Kelley and Erica Sheludenko. Ava and Esther will seek to own that record tomorrow when they play Lehman College.

Ellie Eidelzon (#5 singles, 6-7 (12-10), 6-4, 10-4) and Jacqueline Moreno (#6 singles, 6-0, 6-2) also recorded good wins this afternoon to help the Bearcats go 3-0 in the CUNYAC.
