The Baruch cross country teams competed on Sunday morning at the Queensborough CC Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.

The Bearcats were originally scheduled to compete on Friday at the St. Joseph's College Invitational on Long Island, but the meet was canceled due to heavy rains and unsafe conditions. The Bearcats quickly pivoted and went on Sunday to the Queensborough meet.

For the third straight week, the women placed a runner in the top 10 with Paz Moran finishing eighth with a time of 22.04.3. For her efforts for the third straight week, she was also named the CUNYAC Runner of the Week.

On the men's side, Jose Perez came up big again finishing 12th with a time of 30:27.4. For his efforts, he was named CUNYAC Honorable Mention Player of the Week for the second time.

The men also had two other runners in the Top 20 with Daniel Sedgh in 16th place (30:56.1) and rookie Colin Asher (31:38.3) in 20th.
