The women's tennis team made history on Saturday with two Bearcats competing for the first time in school history at the Women's ITA Northeast Regionals hosted by Hobart and William Smith Colleges in upstate Geneva, New York.

The ITA Northeast Regionals brings together the very best for singles and doubles competition to decide the top players in the region. Last year, the men's team through Christopher Tham competed in the regionals at Drew University for the first time.

Junior Ava Deguzman and freshman Aishika Yadav will go into the records books representing Baruch College.

The Bearcats also added to their history in the first round of the doubles winning with a convincing score of 8-0 against SUNY Brockport, but fell in the second round to the pair from Skidmore 8-1.

They each lost tough first round singles contests.  Ava lost 6-2, 6-3 to RPI.  Aishika fell 6-1, 6-2 to Skidmore.
