Women's Basketball Defeats York in Friday Night Hoops (75-30)

The women's basketball team went on the road Friday night to record a 75-30 CUNYAC victory at York College in a rescheduled contest.

The Bearcats took control early jumping out to a 27-6 lead and never looked back en route to improving their CUNYAC record to 7-4.

Mia Castillo was tops with 23 points, 10 steals, nine assists and seven rebounds in 29 minutes.

Elissa Leung had 13 points and seven assists, while Madison Thornton-Lewis recorded her first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Angela Bacarella had nine points, nine rebounds and four steals.

Alicia Gumbs led the Cardinals with 12 point and 17 rebounds.
