The men's volleyball went on the road Thursday night to record a sweep at John Jay College.
The Bearcats had a big night pounding out 40 kills (,289) compared to 27 (.091) by the Bloodhounds.
The first set was close and tied at 25 but a kill by
Jack Centeno and
Juancarlos Henriquez notched the 27-25 victory.
The Bearcats hit a solid .429 to win the second set (25-21) and then .391 in the third set (25-14) to stay undefeated at 5-0 in the CUNYAC.
Peter Gavroff led the attack this evening with 11 kills, while
Ari Osmanaj tallied a career-high 10 kills (.412).
Ryan Ommenn dished out 33 assists for the team's seventh straight win.
Next up for the Bearcats is the always highly-anticipated CUNYAC match against Hunter College. The first serve on Tuesday at Hunter is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
