The softball team had a successful Saturday afternoon winning both ends of a CUNYAC doubleheader at Lehman College in the Bronx.

The visiting Bearcats posted scores of 6-0 and 15-4 (six innings) to win for the fourth time in five contests.

Carly Quint took control in the first game batting 3-for-5, with homers in the first and third innings for the early 3-0 lead. She also dominated on the mound with a complete game shutout to go along with a season-high 11 strikeouts, three hits, and only two walks allowed in seven innings.

Megan Bell batted 2-for-3, with two stolen bases and two runs scored that helped her reach the career milestone of 100 runs.

In the second game, Caroline Gallagher had a big game on the mound and plate. She batted 3-for-4, with a career-high five RBI that included a pair of two-run singles to help break open the contest. On the mound, she threw a five-hitter with no earned runs in six innings.
