Men's Tennis Wins Third Straight Match, Defeat Pratt (8-1)

The men's tennis team won their third straight match defeating the Cannoneers from the Pratt Institute, 8-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Billie Jean King U.S. National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.

The Bearcats took control winning all three doubles to start and then five of the six singles for the non-conference victory.

Juan Paredes and Nicholas Santiago won at #1 doubles, 8-4.

Tuna Nergizoglu was dominant at #1 singles earning the first singles team point, 6-1, 6-0.

Liam Cooper won a tough battle at #5 singles for the second singles team point, 7-6 (7-4), 7-5.

Reda Ljazouli helped round out the victory winning 6-1, 6-1 at #6 singles.

The Bearcats will return to action on Tuesday with a 3:00 p.m. contest at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.
