The Bearcats are playing their best baseball of the season at the right time.
They won for the fifth time in six CUNYAC contests after recording a 5-2 and 7-3 doubleheader home wins against Lehman College at Silver Lake Park in West Harrison, New York.

Jeremy Ramirez recorded his fourth win of the season and
Benjamin Norwood notched his first intercollegiate save in the tough 5-2 victory.
Joseph Cocozza got the scoring going in the first game with an RBI double in their opening at-bat to score
Christopher Petrillo. They added two runs in the fifth via a Cocozza RBI single and a
Julian Diaz RBI walk. One inning later
Benjamin Luciano homered and Petrillo had an RBI single to lead 5-2.
Norwood pitched the final two innings of scoreless relief to finish the 5-2 victory.
In the second game, the bats were busy again early in their first at-bat behind another RBI double by Cocozza and sacrifice fly RBI by Diaz.
They scored again in the third on a
Joseph Bello RBI single and took a 5-0 lead in the fourth on Petrillo RBI double and again Cocozza RBI single.
Kenneth Pastrana smacked a sacrifice fly RBI in the fifth for a 6-0 lead.
The Lightning did not go away quietly and scored three runs in the top sixth to cut the score to 6-3.
Brendan Topper added an insurance run in the bottom sixth for the 7-3 score on a sacrifice fly RBI and Nicholas La Pointe pitched a quick 1-2-3 seventh inning with two strikeouts to seal the home victory.
Ryan Foerst earned his first intercollegiate win in middle relief with 5 strikeouts.
Cocozza, who on Tuesday recorded the milestone of 100 career hits, finished today's doubleheader batting 5-for-7, with four RBI, two doubles, and two runs scored.
Diaz had two total RBI as the Bearcats are now on a CUNYAC four-game win streak.
